As the National Safeguarding Partner Facilitator for Education (Feb 2024-April 2025) I saw huge benefits for families and children, having Education as an EQUAL STRATEGIC PARTNER in safeguarding arrangements. 

This means at every interaction between safeguarding partners and agencies the views and contributions of education staff will be received equally, respected and included in         decision making for children and families. 

Through many interactions with education staff this is not their lived experience and without this, children and families are being put at risk and not receiving the appropriate level of support.
